We are so excited to announce that Poppy Marie & Co. Corporate Wellness is expanding to bring entrepreneurs like you a place to find content, community, and inspiration with the launch of WORK • LIFE • BALANCE. If the past year has taught us anything, life can throw you a curve ball when you least expect it. We wanted to create a space to help people build a solid foundation of self-care to maintain balance when things get tough. Our team of certified fitness professionals and mindfulness mavens are hard at work putting together tips and tricks to help you and your team be their best selves.

A bit about us…

Meet Stephanie! If you’ve found yourself on the Poppy Marie & Co. site, you may already know who Stephanie is. She is the founder of PM&C, and in addition to communications and design, it’s her passion for yoga and meditation that keeps her going. After a car accident in her early twenties set off a string of back problems that eventually left her barely able to walk for some time, she knew she needed a lifestyle change if she wanted to continue to live an active life. Enter yoga! A practice that gave her purpose and helped her heal. She is a 200RYT who is excited to share what she has learned and bring a little OM into your everyday.

 

Meet Muffy! Muffy gets fired up about being active, staying fit, and having a good time while doing it. With a background in figure skating, dance and running, Muffy became a Zumba instructor in 2013, with the goal of keeping students pumped up and sweating. Having caught the teaching bug, she added certifications for PoundFIT and Schwinn Indoor Cycling. What’s the common theme between these disciplines? A killer playlist! She is a firm believer that the right music not only keeps you motivated but keeps you moving. When she is not leading a high-energy class, she is a PR professional whose excitement for sports kick started her career. Her capstone paper at NYU was titled: "Rebuilding an Athlete's Reputation Following a Scandal." She is currently revisiting this research paper and updating it for the digital age.

Meet Briana! Briana is passionate about anything that brings peace and determination to the body while she thinks, breathes, and dreams about communication. PM&C’s resident self-care aficionado, Briana aims to act as an example of how communication can positively affect any situation’s outcome. With a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts and a Master of Science focusing on Global Strategic Communications, Conflict Resolution and Consensus Building, she continually improves her skills to bridge individuals in and outside of the workplace. Reflecting on the words of Lena Horne, “it’s not the load that breaks you down; it’s the way you carry it,” she remembers that self-care and wellness should be driving forces for anyone looking to find balance.

Meet Samantha! A former Disney On Ice figure skater turned pilates instructor; fitness is in Sam’s blood. She motivates students with her infectious positivity, humor, and lasting emotional connections. A strong writer, motivator, and team player, she thrives when helping people achieve their fitness goals. Sam holds to the ethos that diversifying your life experience challenges you to evolve and unlock your creative energy and empathy for others with deep compassion. Her marketing and communications background gives her the ability to assist clients’ focus on their intentions on and off the mat.
